Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Bottom Lashes.
Properly applied Bottom Lashes should not damage natural lower lashes. Skilled technicians isolate and bond individually, minimizing stress. Avoid oil-based products, excessive rubbing, and pick up; schedule regular fills to maintain healthy growth and prevent undue strain.
Bottom Lashes typically last two to four weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. Regular gentle cleansing, avoiding oils, and sleeping carefully extend retention. We recommend touch-ups every two to three weeks to keep a full, balanced lower lash line.
Most clients find Bottom Lashes lightweight and comfortable; you may feel mild awareness for a few hours. Proper isolation and appropriate lengths prevent irritation. Tell your technician if you experience itchiness, excessive tearing, or discomfort for immediate adjustment.
We generally advise avoiding mascara on Bottom Lashes because it can clump and shorten retention. If necessary, use a water-based formula sparingly at the roots of natural lashes only. Avoid waterproof mascaras and remove makeup gently to preserve extensions.
Cleanse daily with extension-safe cleanser, brush gently with a spoolie, and avoid oily products or rubbing. Sleep on your back when possible and book fills as recommended. Proper hygiene prevents buildup and prolongs both retention and lash health.
Downtime is minimal — most clients return to normal activities immediately. Avoid water, steam, or intense sweat for the first 24 hours to allow adhesive cure. Mild sensitivity is uncommon; contact us if you notice prolonged redness, swelling, or discomfort.
